Willie James Bentley, Jr. was born on September 29, 1952, to the late Willie James Bentley, Sr. and Fannie Mae Bentley.
He was a graduate of Gibbs High School, Class of 1970. Willie was a furniture technician in Newark,
New Jersey for 10 years. They manufactured Bentley’s Furniture. After returning to Florida he worked as a floor restorer for Baypoint Nursing
Home and Goodwill. Willie loved people, football, family and Glenda (his cat). He loved reading and was very versed in discussions of any subject. Willie was
the life of the party with his jokes. He loved the Lord and when Elder Williams would be preaching,
and it would touch his spirit, he would say out loud “Come on with it” and then follow it with “Aint the Lord Alright.”
Willie James Bentley, by his father, Willie J. Bentley, Sr. Jr. departed this life on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at Lexington Rehab. He was preceded in death by his sister, Annie Lee Bentley.
