MARSHALL, Jessie Mae 78, of Largo, FL passed away January 28, 2018.

Jessie M. Marshall was born on May 1, 1939, in Dawson, Terrell County, Georgia to Aaron and Mattie B. Lawrence. Jessie received her education in the public schools of Dawson, Georgia. She was a member of The Holiness Church of Jesus Pentecostal, where she served as a Missionary, Church Mother and as an Evangelist, sharing the Word of God. Jessie’s employment history included, Morton Plant Hospital, Fort Harrison Hotel, Romans Industrial and Ridgecrest Cafeteria, where she retired from on May 26, 2016. Jessie will be remembered for being the neighborhood Avon Rep from 1978 to 1985. Being in this position gave her the opportunity to meet her community and touch the hearts of many. Jessie was married to the Elder James W. Marshall, Sr. and they were blessed to provide a loving home for their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom they loved dearly. Jessie will be remembered by her family as being a great provider and giver and showing them what it meant to have good work ethics. She was a strong-minded woman and will be remembered for her strength and integrity. Jessie never ended a phone call without saying…I Love You! Mother Jessie M. Marshall departed this life on January 28, 2018, Largo, Florida.

She is predeceased by her husband, Elder James W. Marshall, Sr., parents, Aaron and Mattie B. Lawrence, daughters, Thelma L. Marshall and Diane Marshall and twin sister, Essie M. Marshall.

Marshall; daughters, Dorothy Marshall Bruce, Drewcilla Marshall Thomas (Gerald) and Barbara Marshall Scott (Jerry); sisters, Lillie P. Pittman and Rushie B. Thomas; brother-in-law, Bishop Johnny L. Marshall, Sr., special sister-in-law, Hattie McCarter, sisters-in-law, Margie Butler (James), Dorothy M. Boggan, Hazel Collins, Frances Allen (Wallace) and Rubie D. Marshall; grandchildren, Raphealia Shontae Scott, Arelouis A. Scott, Melbert Bell, Jr., Marcus Thomas, Cornelius J. Thomas, Shatoya Thomas, Sharica Thomas, Cecilia A. Marshall, Willie Fred Marshall, Jr., Brian Marshall, Roman C. Bruce and Roshonda C. Bruce; 19 greatgrandchildren; godson, David Wilkins, Jr.; special adopted grandchild, Emya Falana; and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many loving friends.

Visitation: Friday 5-7 pm at  Holiness Church Of Jesus Pentecostal Largo FL
Service: Saturday 1 pm at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Largo FL
