Jeanette B. Stephens was born on June 8, 1944, in Dexter, Georgia to Reverend Willie Billue, Sr. and Carrie L. Billue. She attended Sixteenth Street Middle School and Gibbs High School. Jeanette was employed for Perkins Elementary (Food Service), McCroy Store, Kmart and as a nanny and housekeeper for a private family. She was of the Pentecostal faith and she served on the Senior Usher Board, Deaconess Board, The Mother’s Board, Hospitality Board and Grandparents Raising Grandchildren. Jeanette was a garage sale shopper, couponer, enjoyed outings with family, cooking, writing, leaving voicemails, attending gospel concert and taking pictures with gospel singers. Jeanette B. Stephens departed this life on March 3, 2018, at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Stephens, Sr., daughter, Mary Linda Delaney, father, Reverend Billue, Sr., brothers, Prentice Billue, Sr. and Darrel Billue and sister, Glady Dixon.
